There was an upset when higher rankedGroningen (12-9) was edged at home by sixteenth ranked Den Helder (8-16) 92-90 on Sunday. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by forward Carter Gilmore (201, college: Wisconsin) who scored that evening 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and point guard Reggie Mesidor (183, college: Southeastern) supported him with 21 points and 6 assists.
